Our firm advised Agnikul Cosmos Private Limited ("Agnikul"), on securing a grant from Technology Development Board (TDB), a statutory body under the Department of Science & Technology (DST) for the "Development and Commercialization of Modular Configurable Launch Vehicle for 100 Kg Payload".

The grant will enable Agnikul to develop and commercialize Agnibaan, a customizable two-stage launch vehicle capable of delivering payloads of up to 300 kg to orbits at 700 km altitude. Agnibaan is the world's first rocket using a single-piece 3D-printed rocket engine and is India's first semi-cryogenic engine-powered rocket. This will further cater to the growing demand for small satellites and democratise access to space for satellite market players.
